M9 plates redone
Remade the M9 beta-glucosidase-transformant plates (3 plates per condition, 50 mL agar mix each: 12.5 mL 4X M9 + agar-water base + condition-specific additions + 40 µg/mL chloramphenicol):
- 1% cellobiose
- 0.4% glucose
- 1% cellobiose + 0.4% glucose
50 µl of overnight culture (from glycerol stock) was spread on each plate undiluted. The agar-water mix looked yellowish after microwaving (likely localised overheating), but plates set normally. The combined-condition plates had to be remade after solidifying prematurely during the water-bath melt step.
