Yunmeng, 20, is a female living in the Nanshan district of Shenzhen with normal vital signs. As one of the team leaders of SUSTech_Shenzhen , she has led the team members to carry out many interesting Human practice activities. Her major is clinical medicine, and she enjoys studying the physiology of humans and mice. Her main work now is to combat hair loss and difficulty getting out of bed.

Although his major is mechanics, Yue has always been interested in directed evolution. In iDEC he hopes to combine mathematical methods with practical bio-application, like weather forecasting, to precisely estimate cell production. Although there are already some mature methods and software, using them proficiently and explaining the specific meaning in biology is not easy. Sometimes he did struggle with modelling, but from the whole view, he really enjoys this process.

Haotian is a sophomore in SUSTech. Outside the lab, he is a long-time fan of RNG team in the world of eSports. His motto is "Never give up!".

As our wiki queen, Jie has a unique sense of humor. She likes to keep quiet and always be a cool girl. Every time she speaks, she makes everyone laugh. She is willing to learn and dare to try. By the way, she really enjoys staying in the lab!

Ruijie, a senior studying clinical medicine in SUSTech. I hope to gain better teamwork ability and enhance my interest and ability in scientific research by participating in iDEC. Outside the lab, she is a member in college basketball and football team with winning many awards. She also likes lovely dogs, watching movies, listening to music with good lyrics and eating tasty food.

Shuang is a junior studying Biomedical Engineering. He wants a long holiday after iDEC, and he always believes directed evolution could change the world.

Qianhui is a passionate medical student with a big heart and wants to explore the world of science beyond patients. Outside the lab, she is always a bird lover and committed to environmental protection.

Xuyang is a true visual thinker, and serves as the art designer for the team. He majors in biology, but also specializes in fine art and design. He believes that the most touching aesthetics lies in living organisms, which makes him fansinated in combining visual presentation with the concept and mechanism of directed evolution.

Minjiong is the tallest man in the team, and he can always bring lots of fun to everyone in parties. Major in clinical medicine, he is always friendly and never late for meetings. As the person in charge of the SpringBuds Project, he may be the happiest person to see lots of students having changed their opinion in Biology, especially directed evolution. Keep hungry, so he can eat two whole roast chickens at one time! Keep foolish, so he keeps finishing reading one book every 2 months.

Boxiang is CTO and co-founder of Links-Spider Technology Co., Ltd. He is an iGEMer who has led teams for nine years, loving synthetic biology and educating young people. Dr. Ancheng Huang has a multidisciplinary background in chemistry and biology with working on plant metabolism and natural products synthesis by synthetic biology. He provides us with lab space and is always helpful in our metabolic and fermentation engineering.

Dr. Jie Wang mainly focuses on the bioorthogonal chemistry, genetic code expansion and directed evolution of enzymes. He is always available to discuss and help us build up directed evolution system.
