Repeated the 11 August growth-curve experiment (same 7 conditions) to check reproducibility, with an extra day-2 reading.

Broadly reproduces the 11 August pattern: the no-carbon-source control (4) and the no-casamino-acids condition (7) both stayed near baseline, while the other conditions grew substantially. Culture 2 gave an unreasonable result relative to its expected role as the no-supplement negative control — likely a culture-preparation error rather than a genuine growth signal.
Separately, started overnight cultures of CxnA and beta-glucosidase in LB + 0.38 mg/mL IPTG + 40 µg/mL chloramphenicol, for the cellobiose-substitution experiment planned next.
