Introduction
The project we chose this year was difficult for undergraduates, but it was pleasing to have some help as we stumbled along the way. With great honor, we were glad to find some collaborators and communicated with them.
They reminded us that we were not a single team but a traveller who would finally meet partners with a common goal.
NAU-China
Being our brother team, iGEM from Nanjing Agriculture University provided us critical help. We shared the same lab and meeting room, we chatted with each other and supported each other. It is the iGEMers’support that gave
us such motivation to complete the whole experiment.
SYSU-CHINA
On 10th September, SYSU-CHINA and our team held an online meeting on discussion of mutation strategies for directed evolution. We introduced them to the principles and details of the PACE system and SYSU-CHINA very generously
offered to help us build a mutation library using the TADR system and implemented the experiments in September. We would like to express our sincere thanks to them for their friendly collaboration.
iDEC China Association (iCA)
In order to promote Directed Evolution and iDEC in China, we (NAU) have joined forces with SUSTech, CPU, NEFU and OUC to organize iDEC China Association in anticipation of providing a communication platform for Chinese
iDECers and enthusiasts.
